Balochistan government cancels holiday on Iqbal Day

QUETTA: Balochistan government Saturday has issued a notification cancelling gazetted holiday of Iqbal Day on November 9, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to details, A notification was issued on Saturday night from Balochistan government stating that all the offices and schools under provincial government will remain opened on Monday.

The decision has come moments after KPK government announced to observe holiday on Iqbal Day.

Punjab government has also decided not to observe a day off on birthday of great poet Allama Mohammad Iqbal on November 9, Monday.
