SBP issues notification of ‘No holiday’ on Iqbal Day

ISLAMABAD: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday evening has announced that there would be no holiday on Iqbal Day (November 9), TheNewsTribe.com reported.

The announcement was made through a notification which stated that all the offices of State Bank across the country will remain open on Iqbal Day.

Earlier, Private schools Organization announced to observe a holiday on Iqbal Day.

Whereas, Punjab government on Friday morning stated that they would not observe any holiday on November 9.

Different announcements from different Organizations, have created a vogue situation.

People across the country, especially government employees are still unclear about the issue, and waiting for a proper notification.
