ISLAMABAD: On the direction of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, NADRA has resolved the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) issue of twin sisters of Rahim Yar Khan on Friday.

According to a statement, the Interior Minister has directed the chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to investigate the matter as to why the minister has to intervene in the matter.

The minister also ordered to investigate why the twin sisters faced problem in getting their CNIC.

The twin sisters of Rahim Yar Khan faced trouble in getting admission in a college. After submitting their B-form in the institution they applied for their identity card in the NADRA office.

NADRA officials issued CNIC to one sister Aqsa while refused to issue it to her twin Azka by sealing the invoice as blocked.
