Lahore factory incident: death toll rises to 18

LAHORE: Rescue teams are still trying to rescue the laborers of the Poor building which collapsed last evening so far 18 labors have lost their fight of life in incident.

Rescue teams of Bahria Town also arrived at site and started the rescue operation. According to reports, at least 18 people were killed in incident.

Injured people were shifted to near by hospitals.

Still there have been indications of people which are stuck under the collapsed material of building and according to latest updates 20 member fresh squad of Rescue tam 1122 has left for speeding up the rescue operation.

Earlier, under construction factory building on Wednesday collapsed at Lahore’s Sundar Industrial Area. At least a dozen rescue vehicles and workers are carrying out the rescue operation.

The District Coordination Officer (DCO) has issued an alert to all hospitals and staffers.
