LAHORE: Famous journalist Arif Nizami  has revealed that on Monday that Reham wanted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) capitalists to fund her movie production career which resulted in the couple’s divorce.

PTI chairman resented the demand and her decision to step in movie production business.

It has been revealed in ‘Dunya News Kamran Khan K Sath’ programme.

According to the leading investigative journalist of the country, Reham tied knot with Khan for the same reason. While talking to Kamran Khan, journalist Arif Nizami revealed that the divorce is not a result of consensus.

He said that Khan had gotten so fed up of her that he did not wait for local body (LB) polls. He divorced her before the LB elections in Punjab.

Nizami also said that several constituencies had declared Reham a ‘security risk’ during LB polls.

Separately, several British media outlets have offered Reham lacs of pounds and extraordinary deals to shed light on her relationship with Imran in ten months of marriage. Several houses have pitched writing a book on the marital relation.

Several foreign televisions and newspapers have approached Reham for interviews.

On the other hand, reportedly the ex-couple conversed over a telephone call for the first time after the recent split-up. The ex-partners talked for at least ten minutes, reportedly.

Earlier, a private TV channel had claimed that Reham did not want to maintain a low-key profile and take part in politics which caused the split. Different political leaders including Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz and Pakistan People s Party (PPP) co-chairman Bilawal had directed members to not comment on opposition leader s personal matters.

The 63-year-old PTI leader had married the 41-year-old TV host in January this year. Another media outlet reported that Reham s violent temperament and taking charge of the political party were among the issues that led the couple to breakup
