ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan is addressed Senate today for the first time in the parliamentary history of the country.
CJ of Pakistan said that constitution of Pakistan indicates the the limitations of institutions. “Its a honor for me to address senate,” he added.
Chief Justice Anwer Zaheer Jamali became first judge of the superior judiciary addressing the Senate Committee constituted to give recommendations to the government on speedy justice in Pakistan.
Barrister Saif of MQM said, “It is a historic moment that CJ is addressing the committee. The development is positive and will enhance interaction between institutions.”
