Pakistan vs England 3rd Test Day 2: England on top, updates

SHARJAH: English batsmen has put England on the driving seat by making 222 runs for the loss of 4 wickets on the 2nd day of the 3rd Test of 3 match series at Sharjah cricket stadium, Sharjah.

According to details, England openers started off the new day with 4 runs on the board but soon after the start Pakistan got a breakthrough courtesy of Shoaib Malik who sent back Moeen Ali with the help of Younis Khan at slip.

But after that England managed to score 87 runs without any further loss at lunch.

After lunch Pakistan bounced back with back to back wickets of Cook and Joe Root but after that Bairstow and James Taylor have carried the English innings successfully and crossed the 200 mark, they are just trail by 12 runs.

Taylor is unbeaten at 74 runs and Bairstow is helping him with 37.

Yasir Shah took two wickets, Rahat and Malik grabbed one one wicket each.
