FAISALABAD: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali’s brother Amir Sher Ali said no to accept the result of by-election.

Amir Sher Ali filed application for recounting of votes. Abid Sher Ali also claimed the Rana Sannaullah was involved in delay of results.

On the other hand, Punjab PTI former president Ijaz Chaudhry has accused the government of worst rigging in the local bodies elections.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the local bodies elections should be declared null and void.

“The ruling party committed rigging to the last extent. The police were also against the PTI candidates,” he said.
