TV can be a reason behind Cancer: Study reveals| TheNewsTribe.com

WASHINGTON D.C- A recent study conducted in America has revealed that cancer and other fatal diseases, and watching Television are correlated.

According to the study, 80% of the people spend 3 and a half hours in front of TV which can be detrimental for health. In this regard, the other previous studies have disclosed that risk of heart diseases and cancer is increased by watching TV.

In the study conducted by American National Institute, individuals ageing 50 to 71 were studied who were not victim of any chronic disease at the beginning of research. After the research, the institute assented to the claim that those who watch TV obsessively have more risk of falling victim to cancer and heart disease.

Moreover, the research proclaimed that these individuals are more prone to the risk of Diabetes, Influenza, Parkinson’s disease and liver disease.

Those who watch TV for 3,4 hours in routine have 15% more risk of having these diseases while those who watch TV for 7 to 8 hours have risk increased to 47%.

It is pertinent to mention here that these individuals were compared to those who watch TV for an hour or less and then the results were compiled.

According to the researchers through exercise these diseases can be escaped to some extent but the chances cannot be mitigated completely. They suggested that those who have adopted an inactive lifestyle should immediately transform it and make exercise their first priority.
