DUBAI: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Shaharyar Khan has also approved Younis Khan’s inclusion in One Day Squad against England in UAE, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Approval from PCB chairman has put weight in Younis’ case, as Selection Committee is already agreed to put seasoned batsman in ODI squad against England.
But Pakistan team management is still reluctant to take Younis in, as they belief it will effect on team combination.
“We are ready to get him into squad for farewell matches, but his regular inclusion is not a wise choice as it will effect team combination,” an official told TheNewsTribe.com on condition of anonymity.
Chief Selector Haroon Rashid has left for Dubai to meet team management and resolve the issue.
However, after chairman’s approval, it is most likely for Younis to play ODI series against England.
Yuonis Khan may be included in the team in place of Sohaib Maqsood
Younis Khan has scored 7240 runs in 254 innings he played with an average of 31.34.
