124 fresh dengue cases registered in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: At least 124 dengue cases were registered during last 24 hours in Rawalpindi, TheNewsTribe.com reported. 

Dengue cases were registered in various hospitals increasing the toll of the patients to 2,900.

Due to the rising number of patients, beds and paramedical staff have fallen short. Patients admitted in hospitals include a large number of children and women.

Doctors on the other hand have directed the patients to refrain from coming to hospital as the staff is on leave due to Muharram vacations.

Earlier last week dengue patient lost his life life due to dengue fever on Thursday in Rawalpindi. The Dengue victim was identified as Mohammad Naeem. 22-year old was under treatment in the Holy hospital.
