You look just like your father, except your eyes. You have Lily’s eyes. This is one of the most famous dialogue of the Harry Potter series but is it true as well? Unfortunately no, in regards with the film. In the film neither Harry’s nor Lily’s eyes are green as described in the novel.
Here are few more characters that have different eyes from the ones described in the novel.
Ginny Weasley
In the novel her eyes are described as brown but in the movies, they are green.
Ron Weasley
Similarly her brother, Ron’s eyes are said to be blue while he has green eyes in the movie.
Voldemort
Yes our Voldy moldy was supposed to have red eyes but film makers have done mercy on us by giving him white eyes as we could not afford him even scarier than he is now.
Lily Potter
Lily Potter had green eyes but she was given brown eyes in the movie. She and Harry were supposed to share their eye color.
Still this scene is sentimental for us.
