MUMBAI: Indian Police on Tuesday has arrested Indian spin bowler Amit Mishra over harrasment charges.
According to initial details, a case had been registered against him over assault charges now leg spinner has been arrested from Banglore, India.
Reports from Indian media said that he was questioned for three hours before finally being arrested by the Bengaluru Police.
Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner Police (DCP) Sandeep Patil stated earlier today that Mishra will be released on bail, as it is a bailable offence.
Mishra wa s the part of recent India- South Africa One Day series which visitors had won.
