RAWALPINDI: Section 144 has been imposed in Rawalpindi to provide maximum security to mourning processions on 9th, 10th Muharram, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

All major routs of the processions have been blanketed with heavy contingents of security.

Mobile services on the routes are suspended while these routes are also closed for traffic.

Pillion riding has also been banned in Rawalpindi.

At least 6000 security personnel are performing duties in Rawalpindi city.

Parking any sort of vehicle on procession’s route is strictly prohibited.
