PESHAWAR: Security forces on Friday foiled an attempt of terrorism by capturing a suicide bomber alive before he could blew himself up near a mourning procession in Kurram Agency bordering Afghanistan.
According to reports, security forces captured a suspect who was trying to come closer to a mourning procession taken out in an area in the tribal agency.
“The procession was his actual target but he was captured and could not discharge his suicide jacket,” reported Samaa.
The incident came when mourning processions in connection with 9th Muharram are being taken out across the country, a day after a suicide attack left 11 people dead in Bolan town of Balochistan
