ISLAMABAD: Federal government of Pakistan issued a notification to ban the pillion riding in capital city.

Interior ministry imposed ban on pillion riding on Muharram 10, due to security reason. Cellular services will be suspended in sensitive areas.

Sindh government on Tuesday banned pillion ridding in Sindh due to security reason.

Earlier, Sindh hime department imposed pillion ridding during 6 to 10 Muharram due to security reasons. Pillion ridding will be banned in seven districts of Sindh including Karachi.

The order will be implemented after 12:AM, October 13. Sindh government also sent a summary to federal interior ministry to ban cellular services in several districts of Sindh.

Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah also chaired meeting to monitor security arrangements for Muharram.
