Mobile phone service to be suspended in Punjab on Muharram 10

LAHORE: Punjab government has announced to suspend mobile phone service across Punjab on 10 Muharram from 8AM to 8PM, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Wednesday.

Yesterday, a notification was issued by the Punjab government regarding a pillion-riding ban throughout the province on Muharram 9 and 10.

Meanwhile, a notification has been issued in Lahore regarding a pillion-riding ban throughout Punjab on Muharram 9 and 10.

According to the Punjab Home Ministry notification, personnel of law enforcement agencies will be immune from the ban.
