LAHORE: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Azeem Ashraf has finished his life with his pistol during the duty in the area of Defence Police station, Lahore.
According to Police officials, senior police has rebuked him yesterday so he was very dishearted due to which he finished his life.
He shoot himself with his own Police licensed pistol.
On the other hand Inspector General (IG) Punjab has taken the notice of the incident and asked Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore to present  initial report immediately.
It is to be kept in mind that suicide rate has been increased in Punjab as one person also burnt himself this week in the province.
