ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Russia  signed a government-to-government agreement on laying Karachi-Lahore Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) pipeline today (Friday).

According to Petroleum Ministry officials, a top level Russian delegation landed in the capital signed the deal with Pakistan for laying 1,000 kilometers LNG pipeline costing $2 billion.

First  step of project will complete in last month of 2017. Federal Minister for Petroleum, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi singed the agreement from Pakistan side.
