ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Leader and former Member Punjab Assembly Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan became the symbol of tech back-fire as he misquoted the tweets of political rival, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Chohan in a recently televised political talk show with TV host Waseem Badami claimed that Marvi Memon of Muslim League (Nawaz) threatened PTI workers in Lahore’s by-elections and showed a tweet from Marvi Memon Twitter handle.

Despite the clarification from TV host, Chohan denied to correct himself and insisted that Marvi Memon set a wrong example.

Badami told Chohan that you are quoting second of the two-tweets set and this is the reason behind your misperception but Chohan responded with denial as he said I have the proof that she did this, while asked Chohan showed same tweet mentioned earlier by Badami.

After the misquoting attempt in live TV show, not only the show host but user on different social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter also criticised Chohan over the behaviour he adopted during conversation.

Chohan while responding to the TV host question claimed that activities of Election Commission and Federal Ministers in the campaign can’t be ignored.

He alleged that Marvi Memon’s appearance in the campaign was to bribe the locals with Benazir Income Support program money.

“Marvi Memon threatened a PTI woman supporter on a twitter and said if any polling agent crossed the limit he/she will receive bullet in for-head,” said Chohan.

Chohahn while terming Memon a BASANTI of Bollywood movie SHOLAY, said the behaviour PML-N show during the campaign wasn’t democratic or healthy.
