Ayyan Ali escapes indictment again

Rawalpindi: Judge of Special Court Customs on Thursday postponed the case of money laundering against model Ayan Ali, till October 28. 

According to details, Ayyan Ali on Thursday morning appeared before court with her lawyers and filed a bail request in currency smuggling case mentioning that prosecutor in 11 hearings has not filed any proof against suspect, therefore, suspect’s passport, taken currency and mobile phone should be returned to her and she should be released.

The Judge while hearing the case said, on the next hearing, no date will be given and the proceeding will be held accordingly.

It is pertinent to mention that Ayan Ali was booked in a money laundering case a few months ago and sent to Jail on judicial remand.Custom court hears currency smuggling case.
