Unique polio case surfaces in Chakwal

CHAKWAL: A unique case of polio effected kid in Chakwal, District of Punjab, Pakistan has been highlighted which has attracted medical experts from all over the world.

According to Dawn TV report, Chakwal’s  6-year-old child Farhan was diagnosed with polio virus during a laboratory test after his father took him to doctor with complaints of flu and fever.

Dr Akram Javed, laborartory in charge, suggested him to undergo some tests to identify it but Farhan can run like other normal children.

It is one of the the very Unique case in itself that children has not paralyzed even after poli virus was detected.

Medical experts are of the opinion thta Polio virus reacts in different ways, sometimes it makes people disable while some times it enter and leave the body of infected person after causing minor fever, flu or body weakness, those who have weak immune system get most effected.
