LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to field its candidate for National Assembly’s Speakership election, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to sources, PTI has decided to not let Ayaz Sadiq go lightly as it decided to field candidate against Ayaz Sadiq who is Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sardar Ayaz Sadiq had been Speaker National Assembly for two and a half years, before he was challenged by PTI for rigging.
Election Tribunal had then de-seated Sadiq and termed election nullified in his constituency. However, He successfully reclaimed his seat in re-elections on October eleven where he won his seat with thin margin of 1800 votes.
Aleem Khan of PTI was his rival candidate in the constituency.
