ISLAMABAD: Google has doubled the celebration of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s over fans by making a doodle of legendary singer on his 67th birthday, TheNewstribe.com reported.
Born on October 13, 1948 , Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a Pakistani musician, primarily a singer of Qawwali, the devotional music of the Sufis.
In his short life, Nusrat was the world’s greatest singer of qawwali, a boisterous and passionate music of mystical Islam.
Extending the 600-year old Qawwali tradition of his family, Khan is widely credited with introducing Qawwali music to international audiences. He toured extensively, performing in over 40 countries.
 He died August 16, 1997
