FAISALABAD: Internal rifts within Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) have once again surfaced as PMLN MPAs from Faisalabad have leveled serious allegations against Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali.
Elected members of PMLN for the provincial assembly from Faisalabad have claimed that bid Sher Ali has joined hands with political rivals Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI).
During a press conference, Abid’s rival group stated that ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogans were chanted in the presence of Abid Sher Ali after previous day’s clash when some unknown miscreants opened fire on a political rally from PTI.
They said, if any of them had to face such situation, they would have taken certain actions certainly, but Abid did the opposite, he registered an FIR against them [those labeling allegations].
Earlier, father of Abid Sher Ali has also passed harsh statements about the rival group in Faisalabad, for which PM Nawaz Shareef had to step in to re-solve the issue
