LAHORE: The process of vote counting is underway in Lahore’s NA-122 and PP-147 and Okara’s NA-144 after the daylong polling process.
According to initial results PML-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has bagged 8540 votes while PTI candidate Abdul Aleem Khan got 7530 votes in 31 out of total 284 polling stations so far.
Meanwhile on the other hand, PML-N candidate Ali Arif Chaudhry has bagged 5235 votes while independent candidate Riazul Haq got 6590 votes in 23 out of total 210 polling stations so far.
It is to pertinent to mention here that there would be a nail biting contest between PTI and PML-N candidates and still they are going neck to neck.
Ayaz Sadiq is contesting from ruling party and Aleen khan from PTI.
