TURKEY: Blasts in Ankara rally, 86 killed 186 injured

ANKARA: Two back to back explosions in a peace rally in the Turkish capital Ankara, has claimed dozens of lives, hundreds of other wounded, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Turkish news agency Dogan said that at least 20 people have been killed. Photos posted on social media show a number of bodies at the scene.

Other media reports from different international news wire services claim that 86 people were killed while 186 other were injured in the incident.

The blasts took place near the city’s central train station.

The target appears to have been a peace march calling for an end to the violence with the Kurdish separatist group, the PKK.
