LAHORE: The local administer in Lahore has imposed section 144 in provincial capital city ahead of by-elections on October 11, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to TheNewsTribe’s (TNT) correspondent from the Lahore, section 144 will be effective for October 11 and 12.
Deputy Commissioner Officer (DCO) Lahore, Capt. Usman confirms the news about imposition of section 144.
No one will be allowed to display weapons during the imposition of section 144, DCO announced.
Law enforcers will be exempted from the newly imposed section, said DCO.
PML-N and PTI are all set face each other in close contest on NA-122, Lahore’s national assembly seat.
