IHL denies to cancel EC verdict over ‘Kissan Package’

ISLAMABAD: Attorney General of Pakistan Irfan Qadir on Thursday has requested Islamabad High Court to cancel the Election Commission’s Verdict over Prime Minister’s ‘Kissan Package’.

According to details, Irfan Qadir presented before the court for ‘Kissan Package’ case hearing.

He requested the court to out fit the verdict of stay by Election commission over the case but Justice Noor-ul-Haq replied very clearly that he cannot cancel the verdict without listening to Election Commission of Pakistan.

Noor-ul-Haq further asked Attorney General that mill owners have been teasing the people of pakistan what did you did to stop that brutality and adjourned the hearing till October 13.

It is to be kept in mind that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif announced a farmers’ package las month but since then government is under criticism as critics has called the package a ‘ biggest ever rigging before elections in NA-122, Lahore.’
