HARARE – Host team failed to put huge total against Green Shirts in the series decider match on Monday at Harare Sports Club.

Zimbabwe set target of 162 for Pakistan to win the match and lift the winning trophy.

Zimbabwean openers give decent start to team but deadly spell of Bilal Asif put host team in trouble. Third match also belonged to spinner as most of wicket were taken by spinners.

Chibhabha scored 48 runs and Mutumbami played inning of 67 runs and helped his team to cross 150-run mark.

Earlier, Pakistani young off-spinner Bilal Asif took his first five wicket haul in One Day International (ODI) against Zimbabwe. 

Bilal Asif sent back five host team batsmen and put Pakistan on driving seat.  Bilal Asif selected from Pakistan’s domestic team Sialkot Region team.

Bilal Asif took 5 for 25 in his ten over spell. Imad Wasim took three and Mohammad Irfan managed to get one wicket each.

After a stunning start, Zimbabwe have lost five back to back wickets to give Pakistan some breathing space in third and final match.

Zimbabwean batsman cleared their intentions straightaway in first five overs when they showed no respect to world’s one of the best bowling attack of Pakistan.

Opener CJ Chibhabha was the first one to fall with his 48 of 76 balls on the total of 89 in 19th over while BB Chari was the second wicket fell for Zimbabwe on 100, he scored 4.
