HARARE – Zimbabwe have to be extra cautious as rampant Pakistan will comeback very strongly in the third and final One Day International (ODI) match of the series on Monday,October 5 at Harare Sports Club, Harare.
Visitors would be too disappointed with the way they lost second match after making an extraordinary comeback in the game.
It was Zimbabwe’s fortune that won them the second ODI by Duckworth Lewis method as umpires called off the match on host team’s bad light complaint.
Though Zimbabwe played very well in the first half of the match and were awesome with their bowling and fielding in most of part in the second innings as well, but Shoaib Malik’s heroics and Amir Yamin’s patience followed by Yasir Shah’s responsible knock, Pakistan were very much into the game before it called off.
Pakistan, requiring 21 0f 12 balls with two wickets in hand and Malik (96) , Yasir (32) on the crease, it looked quite possible.
However, it would be interesting to see what combination will Pakistan field in third match.
It seems they will bring back Imad on the cost of debutante Bilal.
Pakistan have already won the T20 series 2-0 courtesy to their strong bowling lineup.
