Two different FIRs lodged against Wasim Akhtar

KARACHI: Two cases have been registered against Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Wasim Akhtar on Saturday in two different police stations of Karachi.

According to details, the charges against Wasim Akhtar included violation of Telegraph Act, incitement to violence against national secret agencies and forces, insulting speeches and dealing negative blow to national security.

The FIRs have been overnight logged against him at Sohrab Goth and Super Highway police stations with civilians as the complainants.

It is very pertinent to be mentioned here that one of the FIRs included terrorism clauses as well.

Moreover, London police has called MQM head Altaf Hussain on october 5 over money laundering case and it seems like London Police has tighten screws against Altaf Hussain.
