DHARAMSALA – Indian cricket team set mammoth total for mighty South Africa in  in first T20 match at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on October 2 (today).

India set the total 200 runs for visitors courtesy Rohit Sharma’s classic inning. Rohit Sharma scored 106 runs with the help of 12 fours and five sixes.

Virat Kohli put 43 runs on score board. While Abbot manged to get two wickets and remain leading wicket tackers for his team.

Indian batting line up put South African pacers under pressure as Indian top order manged to gave good start to team.

South African skipper won the toss and elected bowl first against India in first T20 match.

For the first time in history of cricket, Protease will play four Test matches in India. This will be the longest tour of South Africa team to India.

“Both countries are now working to develop this into an icon series. Another first is that we will be playing our first Twenty20 International match against India in India,” CSA CEO Harron Lorgat said.
