LHC stops Ayesha Mumtaz from sharing pictures on social media

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday has obstructed Director Punjab Food Authority Ayesha Mumtaz from sharing pictures of action taken against different restaurants on social media websites.

According to details, hearing against Director Punjab Food Authority Ayesha Mumtaz was held in Lahore High Court.

The Restaurants Association lawyers Azhar Siddique requested to the court on behalf of the association that Ayesha Mumtaz should be stopped from uploading pictures on social media websites.

He said that the Ayesha Mumtaz took actions purely on the basis of favoritism and declared the food unhygienic without even checking the food.

The court has barred Ayesha Mumtaz from uploading pictures till further orders.
