Ministry of Religious Affairs claims to contact 217 missing Pakistani pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Religious Affairs has claimed that they have traced 217 Pakistani pilgrims who were missing after the Mina stampede.

According to fresh details from Ministry, 36 Pakistani pilgrims embraced martyrdom while 35 Pakistanis are injured in the tragic incident occurred on Hajj in Mina.

One of the senior official of ministry told media that they have traced 217 pakistani pilgrims who were missing after the incident while they are still searching for 85 more Pakistanis who are still missing.

He further told media that all the information of martyrs, missing and injured Pakistani pilgrims has been uploaded on the website, this website will be updating the information on the daily basis.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had directly contacted Director Hajj and directed him to provide medical care to injured Hajj pilgrims and inform him about missing pilgrims.

Ministry of religious affairs has made a new helpline and people can contact on this number 04211725425 to get information about their loved ones.
