Waqar younis warns national side against Zimbabwe

HARARE: Coach Pakistan Cricket Team Waqar Younis has warned Pakistani team against the fast-improving Zimbabwe side.

According to details, Pakistan holds a 45-3 record in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 7-0 record in T20s against Zimbabwe but despite that Waqar has warned National side not to take them as an easy opponent as they are very dangerous at their own soil, they have defeated many big sides at their home grounds.

Coach said “Zimbabwe has always been a competitive side to play against, especially when they are at home.”

Waqar said Zimbabwe’s biggest strength was their depth in  bowling and batting departments.

Waqar praised the host side and said “There is no one player I can single out as a threat to Pakistan because they are all good, they play as a unit.”

It is to be kept in mind that Pakistan will 2 T20s and 3 ODIs in its tour to Zimbabwe which will start from September 27.
