Mina tragedy: Death toll of Pakistani Pilgrims increases to 11

ISLAMABAD: The death toll of Pakistani pilgrims martyred in the Mina tragedy on Thursday has been raised to 11 on Saturday.

According to a list issued of martyrs by the Religious Affairs Ministry of Pakistan, the martyred pilgrims include Hafsa, Zarin, Syeda Narjis, Zainab, Mahmood, Rashideen Bibi, Asad Murtaza Gilani, Zahid Gul and Dr Amir Ali Lashari.

Seven-year-old Samreen of Multan martyred in Mina was identified, while the martyrdom of Tauseef Iftikhar of Rahimyar Khan has also been confirmed.

Sources said that over 300 Pakistanis are still missing in Makkah.

The missing Pakistani pilgrims include Noor Muhammad of Multan and his wife, 25-year-old Aneeb Khan of Tando Allahyar and three women from Karachi.

relatives of missinfg people are now coming on media to get sose help in finding their loved ones as they are complaining that consulates are non cooperative.
