Seven Pakistani pilgrims embrace martyrdom in Mina incident: DG Hajj

MAKKAH – At least seven Pakistani pilgrims embraced martyrdom in Mina incident, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from media reports. 

More than 150 pilgrims killed while 400 got injured in a stampede at Mina and seven pilgrims belonged to Pakistan.

Rescue operation is underway in which more than 4000 rescue personnel  are taking part in operation. DG  Hajj Abu Ahmad took 180 degree turn and he said that numbers of Pakistani martyrs still not confirmed.

According to Al Arabiya News, at least 150 pilgrims have died while at least 400 others were injured when a stampede broke out in the tent city of Mina today.

Saudi Arabia’s al-Ekhbariya television channel reported the casualty figures on  is Thursday, citing civil defense officials.

The report noted that the injured have been rushed to the hospitals, while the officials are moving the bodies out of Mina.

 Meanwhile, Pakistan Medical Mission in Makkah has said that no Pakistani pilgrim is reported among martyrs, while one Pakistani died by heat stroke.
