RAWALPINDI: Chairman of Pakistan Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid has once again got into limelight with his sensational claims.
This time he has spoken about proud of nation, Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif.
Sheikh Rashid in his current interview with a local TV channel has claimed that all the politicians including Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are unhappy with increasing popularity of COAS General Raheel Sharif.
He said Nawaz Sharif will never give extension to Raheel Sharif.
He further said, “As far as I know Gen. Raheel Sharif, he himself would not take any extension in his tenure.”
Sheikh Rashid was of the opinion that COAS will ‘complete his tasks’ within his tenure.
It is pertinent to mention that General Raheel Sharif is due to retire in November next year.
