PCB appoints Intikhab Alam manager for Zimbabwe tour

LAHORE: Intikhab Alam has been appointed manager of the national team for tour to Zimbabwe, reported Dunya News.

Falling victim to the right-sizing policy of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Intikhab Alam has been handed another assignment for the next tour.

73-year-old former captain of the national team, was appointed interim manager for the upcoming tour.

Former manager Naveed Akram Cheema had been appointed head of the Public Service Commission after which the seat had fell vacant.

Alam has previously served as team manager and coach as well.
