LAHORE: Famous Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar has converted the basement of his newly-bought villa into a recording studio and hosted a jam night recently.
According to details, Ali Zafar had gifted a four-bedroom villa, spread over 15,000 square feet, in Lahore, to his wife Ayesha.
In a recent jam night, among the guests was musician-actor Fawad Khan who was accompanied by wife Sadaf, Goher Mumtaz from rock band Jal and Ali Azmat from the Sufi rock band Junoon.
Ali said “The idea was to come together and create real music in my own jam room, We started at 10 pm and jammed on everything, from Kishore Kumar classics to popular rock numbers. We’ll be having another bash soon.”
In a reply to a question about Fawad Khan Ali said “We have been friends for years but Fawad doesn’t sing much anymore.”
