Security forces cleared the PAF base and surrounding areas. Security forces also started the search operation in area.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), 13 terrorist were killed during clash between security forces and attackers.
After Pakistan Air Force base attack security agencies issued warning to federal capital Islamabad and other high profile areas of country.
Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif arrived at Peshawar, where he visited Corps HQ and meet with troops participating in clearance operations.
