16-year education to be minimum qualification for CSS and PCS

ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Planning Development and Reforms of Pakistan has clarified that 16-year education will be the minimum qualification for Central Superior Services (CSS) and Public Services Commission (PCS) examinations.

Ahsan Iqbal said that recommendations that will be presented to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif requires candidates who register for the Civil Superior Services (CSS) examinations to have at least 16 years of education.

Earlier, Ahsan Iqbal turned down the media reports that claimed M.phil as minimum criteria for Central Superior Services (CSS) and Public Services Commission (PCS) examinations.

Ahsan took micro-blogging wbesite twitter to clarify the issue. He said that there is no suggestion under consideration to make M. Phil minimum criteria for CSS, PCS Exams.
