ISLAMABAD: Interior minister of Pakistan Chaudhary Nisar approved three holidays for Eid al Adha 2015, on Tuesday.
While talking to media, Chaudhary Nisar told that holidays for Eid al Adha will start from Thursday, September 24 and will continue till 26 September 2015.
It is pertinent to mention that on Eid al Fitar, employees enjoyed five holidays but on this Eid people will spend three holidays.
Earlier, The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Pakistan in Karachi for sighting Zilhaj moon ended up with conclusion that Eid in Pakistan will be observed on Friday, September 25.
It is to be kept in mind that Eid al Adha will be celebrated on Thursday (September 24) in Saudi Arabia and all other gulf counties as the Zilhaj moon was not sighted on Sunday in Saudi Arab.
