Bilawal announces multi-billion package for Karachi

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday has announced Rs 150 billion development package for Karachi, District of Sindh, Pakistan.

According to details,while addressing to press conference PPP Provincial Minister for Local bodies Nasir Hussain Shah told “The package will be including 181 development schemes for the megapolis, while monitoring teams comprising of representatives from political parties, civil society and media will be formed to ensure transparency in utilization of funds.”

He said this package was only for the betterment of the people of Karachi and no other one will be authorize to use it.

In a reply to question regarding the coalition in Local Bodies elections he said coalition has always hurt PPP and they will stand against coalition.
