RAWALPINDI: Hyderabad Region on Sunday beat Rawalpindi Region by 2 wickets in Cool and Cool Presents Haier Mobile T-20 Cup, at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi.
Sohail Tanvir-led Pindi Region after winning the toss elected to bat first but could only post of 158/8 in their 20 overs as they kept loosing wickets at regular interval.
Umar Amin’s 502 of 40 was the top score from Rawalpindi.
Hyderabad Region in reply showed promising cricket and despite losing their captain early chased down down the total with two wickets and a ball to spare, thanks to Shoiab Lagahri’s quick 31.
Hyderabad’s Nauman Ali got the Man of the Match for his 3 for 31.
