JHELUM: CM suspends EDOs, TMOs over fictitious dengue spray

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Miyan Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday suspended district coordination officers, EDOs of Health and Education, and TMOs over fainting of schools girls in Jhelum.

At least 75 girls fell unconscious shortly after fumigation drive at a state-run high school in Jhelum.

This come a few days after dozens of girls were affected by a similar incident in Attock.

Taking notice of the fainting of school girls, Shahbaz Sharif demoted secretaries of Health, Schools and Local Government.

The chief minister also suspended Director Generals of Health Services and General Institute of Public Health.
