PM announces cut in power Tariff

ISLAMABAD –  Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday issued directives to reduce power tariff by 2.19 RS per unit  

PM Nawaz Sharif said that nation should not dis-hurt by the limited of criminal activities and he vowed that government will bring peace in Karachi.

He also said that Karachi operation will end soon after achieving all set goals. Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan army and government will cut the roots of terrorism and incident like APS school attack will not repeat again in future.

PM during his address paid tribute of martyrs of APS incident. He also claimed that  that terrorist networks have been destroyed.

“Increase in export is vital for economic progress. We have to take result oriented measurement to enhance export,” he added.

Earlier, targeted killing once again geared up in Karachi as two more people gunned down in couple of days. 

According to latest reports, unknown motorcyclist opened fire on the workers of bakery in Karachi. Police officials identified as Waqar and Imran.

In last 24 hours at least four people were killed in Karachi including two journalist.

Aftab Alam shot dead near his home in 11C North Karachi. After the attack Aftab Alam was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed  Hospital where he declared dead.

Doctors told that he received bullet in his face. Aftab Alam worked with several news channels including Geo News and Samma News.

Aftab Alam’s dead body is shifted to private hospital by his family.
