Police launch baton charge on doctors in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – Police launched baton charge against the doctors and nurses protesting against government in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Paramedical staff were protesting against the policies of government regarding daily allowances. Paramedical staff started their protest in morning and start moving towards Prime Minister House where Islamabad police started resistance.

During clash with between protesters and police, many nurses and doctors got injuries. Police started the baton charge and pushed back the protesters.

Paramedical staff chanted slogans against Islamabad police and government. Protesters are still there and struggling to move forward towards PM House.
