PEMRA bans televising and publishing Altaf Hussain

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Monday has ordered all the TV channels not to broadcast speech of Chairman Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain.

According to details, PEMRA has also banned to show any picture or news of MQM chief. Earlier today, Lahore High Court has imposed ban on publishing and televising pictures of Altaf Hussain.

It is to be kept in mind MQM head is under serious pressure due to money laundering scandal, moreover the prime suspect in Imran Farooq murder case has confessed killing of founding leader of MQM. So the investigation circle is getting tight against him.
